10:16 AM, Ft. Bragg, CA. I carry a point and shoot camera. They’re great tools especially if it has zoom capabilities. My little Sony has a 20x optical zoom that worked for this snapshot. Clearly, this was just a typical and uneventful scene for this geographic area.
4:22 PM, Altadena, CA. I believe in the cannibalization of my work but only when the result is unpredictable. This feels right.
3:48 PM, Burbank, CA. I like to use single, dominant, compositional devices in my work. This snapshot is so formal in its composition that I’m going to have to do something about it.

3:05 PM, San Gabriel, CA. I like this place. They sell things made of stone or concrete for outdoor use. These two girls are just plain weird.
5:06 PM, Altadena, CA. When I refer to the term “Cannibals” in my work, I’m referring to the reuse of my paintings, photos and drawings. The results are visual hybrids, transformations, alterations and mutations. These hybrids can lead to further “cannibalization” by serving as parts of larger paintings later on.
8:12 AM, San Francisco, CA. These people had the right idea. They appeared to be happy, healthy, and active.
9:34 PM, Altadena, CA. I think that our perceptions can be altered when we can’t see everything. Here, the man’s feet and a brief caption are revealed but what this really looked like was a voting booth. In a voting booth, you feel a sense of privacy behind the curtains with just your feet exposed. In reality, there’s no true privacy anymore if you really think about it. Especially anything done online. Peeping Toms, make hay while you can.
